Making Quality Additive Manufacturing (AM) Parts via Process Simulation and CT-based Inspection Webinar
Date: 28th July 2020 (Tuesday) Time: 10:00 AM (Malaysia Time)
Register here: https://www.ticketsource.us/dazztech-solutions-sdn-bhdJoin us in this webinar to discover two solutions that would be very useful to digitally analyze additive manufacturing process at the micro- and mesoscale before the execution of the AM process and as well to optimize the inspection of product’s defects after the AM process.
The first session of the webinar will highlight FLOW-3D CFD’s capabilities in simulating and analysing additive manufacturing processes such as laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF), binder jetting and direct energy deposition (DED). We will look at how process parameter optimization and relevant physical models play an important role in predicting porosity, surface finish and the subsequent microstructure evolution in additive manufacturing processes including the modeling of powder spreading and compaction, melt pool dynamics, resin penetration and so on.
The second session of the webinar will demonstrate the value of using 3D Image processing software (from Synopsys Simpleware), CT scanning and Finite Element Analysis software in understanding AM part performance and reduce uncertainty in high-value design and manufacturing. Learn how defects inspection in additive manufacturing parts can be carried out through a straightforward workflow of inspection process and close important gaps in production by identifying potential differences between as-designed and as-manufactured parts and other defects in AM processes.
